Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be registered to use this site?
No, Nattery works by confirming that your email is correct and active, and then sends you an encoded link to your conversation. As internet users, we all have too many logins and passwords to remember, Nattery is designed to avoid that!

How long do the conversations stay active?
For one month after the last activity, so in effect - as long as you or your guests are interested in it. Registered users can keep conversations for much longer.

Are the conversations private?
They're as private as the host and guests want them to be, and of course are limited specifically to the guest list that you invite. Each guest has their own custom link to the thread which identifies them. They should no more share that link that they would their password.

Will the conversations show up in Google or other search engines?
No. Search engines won't pick up the conversations as firstly they are not part of their crawl because they don't have the encryption of your thread, and secondly because the conversations are on 'no robot' pages. But of course if you or your guests posts their link somewhere else there is always the chance it will show on the web.

Why can't free users post files?
The privilege and responsibility of uploading files (besides images) is something reserved for registered users.

What happens to the email addresses you collect?
Nothing. In fact out-of date conversations are deleted including any email addresses.
